311 E. Palace Ave,
| Pastoral CareThere are times when illness can keep a member away from the parish, and we need to know when you need prayers or a visit. Please contact one of the clergy if you are ill, or if you find yourself in the hospital for some reason – we would like to anoint you and pray for you. When someone is confined to their home for a longer period of time, arrangements will be made for one of our clergy or Lay Eucharistic Ministers to visit with communion on a regular basis. A Lay Pastoral Care Visitation Team is forming at Holy Faith to enhance our ministry with those who cannot be in church regularly, either due to recovery from illness, or because they are homebound. Dean Peggy will be meeting with the team for orientation and discussion of pastoral visiting. Some members of the team may also want to train as Lay Eucharistic Visitors. No experience is necessary, just the desire to brighten the day of someone with a listening ear, a friendly conversation, and an eagerness to hear about their life and family. Call Dean Peggy @ 982 4447 ext. 119 if you would like to volunteer.
