This is Hospitality Sunday! Holy Faith's Men's Breakfast Club will prepare a delicious breakfast for the parish at about 10:00 am. There is also an opportunity for coffee, refreshments, and fellowship after the 7:30 service in the Kinsolving Room.
Children of Holy Faith Children’s Chapel and Sunday School are invited to process into the Eucharist on the first Sunday of each month at 8:30 a.m. The children ages 4 and up will sit in the Chancel for the entire Eucharist. Children will need to assemble in Palen Hall at 8:15 sharp for the procession. Children will be seated in the Chancel so that they can participate and see all liturgical prayers and actions at the Altar. Questions? Call Dean Peggy - 982-4447, ext. 119..
A nursery will be available for children ages 0 -4. The nursery is located on the first floor of Conkey House. A nursery is also offered on Tuesday evenings at 6:00 for our Taize Eucharist with prayers for healing.

The Liturgical Colors:
As God has flooded
earth and sky with color,
so the Church has sensed
the symbolic use of color
in its worship.
As dominating colors
in nature change
with
the seaons of
the
fourfold
year,
so in
the
Church Year there
is a structured
change
in the colors of
the Eucharistic
vestments,
the liturgical colors.
While the Roman
Church wears purple
(for penitence)
vestments for the
season, many Anglican/Episcopal
parishes have reverted
to the Sarum custom (Salisbury Cathedral)
of blue vestments.
We understand the
season as a time of preparation rather
than simply one of
penitence, and blue
is the color of the
Blessed Virgin Mary,
who is instrumental
in the “coming” of the
Lord in flesh.
